Warren County Track Meet Recap: Lady Dragons Dominate, Boys Team Fights to the Finish
Youngsville’s Kinzlea Chase showcased her talent and speed in the hurdles event at the 2024 Warren County Track Meet, held at Sheffield High School. The event saw the Lady Dragons dominating the competition, with Warren’s girls team securing victory in 11 out of 17 events.
Adison Cullers from Warren stood out by winning both the 100 and 300 hurdles, while Lindsay Madigan and Madelyn Nosel clinched the top two spots in the 100-meter dash. Morgan Alexander displayed her prowess by winning the 1,600 and 3,200-meter races, and Lilly Newton excelled in the 400 and high jump events.
Youngsville’s Riley Robinault also had a standout performance, winning the 200-meter race and the long jump. Eisenhower’s Emily Grosch and Lexi Scholar teamed up to win the 4×400 relay, showcasing their teamwork and speed on the track.
In the boys’ competition, Warren narrowly edged out Eisenhower in a thrilling battle, with standout performances from Sam Lindell, Quinn Norris, and Chase Myers. Ryan Chambers from Eisenhower showcased his speed by winning the 100 and 200-meter races, as well as the 4×100 relay.
