Super Rugby Women’s Grand Final 2024: Key Details and Information

The excitement is building as we approach the conclusion of this year’s Super Rugby Women’s competition. With four teams still in the running for the 2024 silverware, the stage is set for an epic showdown in the grand final.

The grand final is scheduled for Sunday, April 28, with kick-off at 2:00 pm AEST. The location for this year’s decider is Ballymore Field 1 in Brisbane, Queensland, with a capacity of roughly 6,000. The venue, home to the Queensland Rugby Union, promises to provide the perfect setting for the ultimate battle for supremacy.

As for the teams competing in the grand final, that will be determined after this weekend’s semi-finals. Reigning champions, the Fijian Drua, will face off against the Western Force, while the undefeated NSW Waratahs will take on the ACT Brumbies. The outcome of these matches will decide who will vie for the coveted title of Super Rugby Women’s champions.

For fans eager to catch all the action, the grand final will be broadcast live on Stan Sport, with a possibility of also being shown on free-to-air TV via 9Gem. Tickets for the event are currently available via Ticketek, with prices starting at $15 for adults.

With the NSW Waratahs dominating the competition in recent years, claiming four consecutive titles between 2018-2021, the Fijian Drua have emerged as the new champions, winning the last two seasons. As we await the crowning of this year’s champions, anticipation is high for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the Super Rugby Women’s competition.
