Former rugby league international Terry Hill, who passed away at the age of 52, is being remembered as one of the game’s “most popular characters”. Hill, who suffered an apparent heart attack while in the Philippines, had a successful career spanning from 1990 to 2005, playing for various clubs including South Sydney, Manly, and Wests Tigers.

Australian Rugby League Commission Chairman Peter V’landys praised Hill as a “prodigiously talented footballer” and a “giant personality” who was loved by all who knew him.
