Hull FC Out of Contract Players Free to Talk to Other Clubs Starting May 1

Hull FC’s out of contract players are set to become hot commodities as they are free to negotiate with other clubs starting this Wednesday. While rugby league’s official anti-tampering date is May 1, it’s no secret that discussions with players often begin well before that.

One player who is already attracting attention is Cam Scott, with Wakefield Trinity reportedly making a lucrative offer for the talented player. It is widely expected that Scott will be donning the Trinity jersey next season. Additionally, interest has also been piqued in Jack Brown, with several clubs keeping a close eye on his situation.

As the transfer market heats up, Hull FC remains active in their pursuit of new signings, both for the immediate future and for next season. Recent acquisitions include Tom Briscoe on an 18-month contract, as well as loan deals for Ed Chamberlain and Yusuf Aydin. The club is not ruling out further signings and is actively exploring options in the half-back and back row positions.

With 13 players set to see their contracts expire at the end of the season, Hull FC faces decisions on whether to re-sign, release, or retire certain players. The club has already bid farewell to Fa’amanu Brown, Damel Diakhate, Tex Hoy, and Darnell McIntosh.

Looking ahead, Hull FC has a mix of players contracted until 2024, 2025, and 2026, as well as potential academy promotions on the horizon. The coming weeks are sure to be filled with speculation and negotiations as clubs across the league vie for the services of Hull FC’s talented roster. Stay tuned for more updates as the transfer window unfolds.
