Catalans Dragons break attendance record with huge crowd in Perpignan for Super League game

Super League Round Seven Attendances: Catalans Dragons, Warrington Wolves, and More!

The Super League round seven attendances have been tallied up, with some exciting matchups and impressive turnouts across the board.

Catalans Dragons saw their best attendance of the season at the Stade Gilbert Brutus, with a total of 10,724 fans packing out the stadium to witness their 14-8 victory over St Helens. Over at Headingley, Warrington Wolves continued their strong form on the road, defeating Leeds Rhinos 34-8 in front of 12,297 spectators.

The ‘Battle of the Borough’ between Leigh Leopards and Wigan Warriors drew a crowd of 10,308 at the Leigh Sports Village, with the Warriors emerging victorious with a 40-12 win. However, Hull FC recorded a season-low attendance of 9,631 as they suffered a heavy defeat against Huddersfield Giants.

Castleford Tigers secured their first win of the season in front of a yet-to-be-confirmed attendance at Wheldon Road, defeating Salford Red Devils 36-24. Meanwhile, Hull KR dominated London Broncos with a 50-10 win, with sell-out crowds announced for upcoming fixtures against Leeds, Warrington, and Hull FC.

The Super League season has seen some impressive average attendances, with Wigan leading the pack with an average of 15,357 fans per game. Leeds and St Helens closely follow with averages of 14,218 and 14,153 respectively. The league continues to draw in fans across the country, showcasing the passion and excitement of rugby league in the UK.
