The men’s heavies faced off against the No. 12 Naval Academy Midshipmen, while the women’s lightweights took on the No. 2 Harvard-Radcliffe lightweights.
The men’s heavyweight team, despite challenging conditions on the Severn River in Annapolis, Maryland, emerged victorious against the Midshipmen. The team’s victories in the double scull race, varsity four, and varsity eight demonstrated their strength and determination to defend their title.
Both teams are now looking ahead to their upcoming races. The men’s heavies will host an Ivy League showdown against Penn and Columbia next weekend, while the women’s lightweights will travel to California to face Stanford.
