The intensive training sessions conducted by the university aimed to enhance the players’ skills and boost their confidence ahead of the upcoming season.
All 16 boys from Rand Park High School took part in the clinic, where they had the opportunity to showcase their talents and compete against other schools in the 2024 senior camp. Under the guidance of experienced coaches and mentors, the team stepped onto the field with renewed style, thanks to their recent uniform sponsorship.
Principal Alan Wilke expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, emphasizing the significance of their achievements. He thanked the team’s sponsor, Graeme Hamilton-Reid of Chas Everitt Randpark Ridge, for generously funding the boys’ playing kit.

They secured wins against tough opponents such as Hoërskool Wesvalia, EG Jansen, and Potchefstroom Gimnasium, among others. Their only draw came against HTS Witbank, showcasing their resilience and determination throughout the tournament.
First team captain Siba Ntlangeni shared his thoughts on the clinic, stating, “The tour to Potch was amazing. The team learned a lot and grew more because of all the coaching that was provided at the clinic, and I am proud of my team.”
