USA Today and USA Hockey Magazine Release Preseason Poll for NCAA Hockey Season

The anticipation for the upcoming NCAA hockey season is at an all-time high as USA Today and USA Hockey Magazine have released their preseason poll, with familiar names at the top.

Defending national champion Boston College will kick off the season tied at No. 1 with the University of Minnesota. The Eagles, led by coach Jerry York, had a dominant run last year and are returning with many key players from their championship-winning team. On the other hand, the Golden Gophers, who were defeated by BC in the national semifinals, are entering the season with high expectations after making a strong comeback to the NCAA tournament last year.

Fans can catch all the college hockey action on NBCSN this year, with many of the top teams featured in the USA Today Top 15, including North Dakota, Union College, Cornell, Denver, Notre Dame, and Boston University.
