Record High Turnout at GymSTART Floor and Vault Competition in Dublin

A record-breaking weekend at the GymSTART Floor and Vault Competition in Dublin saw an incredible 2000 gymnasts from 31 clubs showcase their skills at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena. This marked a significant increase of 800 gymnasts from the previous year, with a record audience attendance of 4800.

The event comes on the heels of Gymnastics Ireland closing out 2023 with its highest ever recorded membership of around 37,000 direct members and a record number of registered clubs. The growth in participation is a testament to the sport’s popularity and the organization’s commitment to providing opportunities for all.

In addition to the GymSTART competition, a GymABLE Inclusion Competition was held, allowing gymnasts of all levels, including those with disabilities, to showcase their talents on the Floor and Vault.
