2024 U.S. Olympic Team Roster: Athletes Who Have Earned Spots so Far
The U.S. Olympic team roster for the 2024 Paris Games is shaping up to be one of the biggest delegations at the Games, with more than 500 athletes set to represent the country. Athletes will earn their spots on the team through a variety of methods, including Olympic Trials, international results, rankings, and discretionary selections leading up to the Games opening on July 26.
Several notable team selection events have already taken place, with more to come in the lead-up to the Games. The swimming trials were held in Indianapolis from June 15-23, the diving trials in Knoxville, Tennessee from June 16-23, the track and field trials in Eugene, Oregon from June 21-30, and the gymnastics trials in Minneapolis from June 27-30.
As of now, a number of athletes have already secured their spots on the U.S. Olympic team, pending approval by the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The roster includes athletes from a wide range of sports, including basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, cycling, fencing, golf, gymnastics, rowing, sailing, shooting, surfing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, track and field, triathlon, wrestling, and more.
