Gymnastics Association of Jammu & Kashmir Supports Muskan Rana’s Training in Azerbaijan
The Gymnastics Association of Jammu & Kashmir is making waves in the sports world by sending top gymnast Muskan Rana to Baku, Azerbaijan for training. The Association, led by President Er Kiran Wattal, is fully supporting Muskan by covering all her training expenses, including airfare and lodging.
Muskan, a talented gymnast from J&K, has consistently proven her skills by winning medals at various national competitions. Most recently, she clinched the top spot in the senior category at the Indian Gymnasts’ trials in Gurugram. Her impressive performance at the Khelo India Youth Games, where she won five individual medals, further solidified her status as a top gymnast in the country.
In a heartwarming gesture, Er Kiran Wattal and officials of the Gymnastics Association of J&K presented Muskan with a cheque to support her training and future endeavors in the sport. The event was attended by her coaches, parents, and SP Singh, Chairman of the GFI Technical Committee.
The President of the J&K Association praised Muskan for her dedication and talent, highlighting her potential to shine on the international stage. He also acknowledged the efforts of her coach, Krupali Singh, in honing Muskan’s skills and preparing her for success.
The support and encouragement from the J&K administration, led by LG Manoj Sinha, and the Sports Council Secretary Nuzhat Gull have been instrumental in fostering a thriving sports culture in the region, particularly in Gymnastics.
