2023-24 Gymnastics All-Stars Selected by the Daily News
The winter sports season has come to a close, and the Daily News is proud to present its 2023-24 All-Stars for gymnastics. These talented athletes have showcased their skills and dedication throughout the season, putting up impressive numbers and helping their teams achieve success.
Kiera Akus, a sophomore from Algonquin, stood out by placing second in the all-around at the Mid-Wach League meet. She also secured a win in the floor exercise with a score of 9.250. Akus played a crucial role in helping the Titans clinch the Mid-Wach Championship title, defeating Groton-Dunstable by a narrow margin.
Imani Curran of Westborough, a versatile athlete who also competes in outdoor track, impressed with her performance in the vault and floor exercise. She tied for third in the vault at the Mid-Wach League meet and secured a win in the floor exercise against Marlborough.
Lizzie Forster, a senior captain from Ashland, showcased her skills on the beam and floor, earning a Tri-Valley League All-Star title. Forster’s exceptional performance at States and her leadership qualities were highlighted by her coach, Jennifer Wrenn.
These gymnasts, along with other standout athletes like Madeline Ho, Clara Keith, and Caroline Martin, have truly raised the bar in the world of high school gymnastics. Their dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport have not gone unnoticed, and they have rightfully earned their place among the top All-Stars of the season.
