Ludvig Åberg continued his impressive form at the RBC Heritage, just one shot off the lead following round two of the tournament. The Swedish golfer, who finished as the runner-up at The Masters last week, carded a second consecutive five-under 66 to move to 10 under for the event.
Åberg’s stellar performance included four birdies in his last six holes, showcasing his skill and composure under pressure. He now sits just one stroke behind the four co-leaders – Sepp Straka, Collin Morikawa, Tom Hoge, and J.T. Poston.
Meanwhile, Augusta National champion Scottie Scheffler made a strong comeback after a lackluster opening round, shooting a flawless six-under 65 to move to eight under for the tournament. Rory McIlroy is also in contention, four shots back after a solid three-under 68 in round two.
Speaking about his performance, Åberg expressed his excitement about playing at Harbour Town Golf Links, a course he has admired for a long time. Despite feeling a bit fatigued after the mentally draining experience at The Masters, the young golfer remains focused and determined for the remaining rounds.
