NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Regionals Teams and Individuals Announced
Teams and individuals were announced on Wednesday for the NCAA Division I men’s golf regionals, setting the stage for an exciting competition that will take place from May 13-15 at six different sites across the country.
Regional play will feature a mix of teams and individual players vying for a spot in the national championships, which will be held from May 24-29 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Golf Channel will provide coverage of the championships, starting on May 27.
The top five teams from each regional site, as well as the low individual not on an advancing team, will qualify for the national championships. With a mix of powerhouse programs and talented individual players, the competition is sure to be fierce.
In the Baton Rouge Regional, teams like Auburn, Virginia, and Texas Tech will be looking to secure their spot in the national championships. Individual players like Alex Goff from Kentucky and Max Sturdza from Florida Atlantic will also be looking to make their mark on the competition.
In the West Lafayette Regional, teams like Vanderbilt, Arizona, and Florida will be battling it out for a chance to advance. Individual players like Caleb VanArragon from Valparaiso and Hunter Thomson from Michigan will be looking to make a name for themselves.
