Three Generations of Golf Fanatics: The Yusufali Family’s Love for the Game
The Yusufali family’s love for golf spans generations, with Habib Yusufali, his son Muzaffar, and grandson Shaneabbas sharing a passion for the sport that has brought them closer together over the years.
What started as a skeptical view of golf by Habib in Tanzania back in 1973 has now turned into a deep appreciation for the game, with the 84-year-old patriarch regularly hitting the links in Dubai with his son and grandson. The trio, self-proclaimed ‘golf fanatics,’ find joy and connection in playing together, bonding over conversations about life and creating lasting memories on the course.
For Habib, golf is not just a physical activity but a mental escape that helps him forget his worries and focus on the game. His son Muzaffar, who started playing in 1982, considers golf his second love and relishes the time spent playing with his father and son.
Shaneabbas, the youngest of the three, brought the family’s golf tradition to Dubai and has since become an avid player himself. Running a successful business during the week, he looks forward to the weekends when he can switch off and enjoy a round of golf with his father and grandfather.
The Yusufalis have been active members of various golf clubs in Dubai, participating in tournaments and corporate golf days across the city. They appreciate the world-class golfing facilities in Dubai and cherish the time they get to spend together on the course.
As they continue to create cherished memories on the links, the Yusufali family recognizes the special bond that golf has helped them cultivate and the unique opportunity they have to share their love for the game across generations.
