Yuki Tsunoda made history at the Japanese Grand Prix by becoming the first driver from his nation to score points on home soil since 2012. The RB driver finished in 10th place, earning points for the second race in a row after his impressive seventh-place finish in Australia.

Tsunoda, who qualified in 10th, had a challenging start to the race along with his teammate Daniel Ricciardo. However, a crucial pitstop by the RB team saw Tsunoda overtake two rivals, securing his position in the points.

The Japanese ace was elated with his performance, giving credit to his team for their outstanding work during the pitstop. Tsunoda expressed his relief and happiness at finally scoring points in front of his home fans.

Despite Ricciardo’s determination to secure points after starting the race in 11th place, the Australian driver was unable to make an impact. Ricciardo expressed his frustration at not making it into Q3 and was disappointed with his early exit from the race after a collision with Alex Albon on the first lap.

Tsunoda’s impressive performance once again outshone his teammate, showcasing his talent and determination on the track. The young Japanese driver continues to prove himself as a rising star in Formula 1, earning the respect and admiration of fans and fellow drivers alike.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Tsunoda as he aims to build on his recent success and continue to make his mark in the world of Formula 1.
