Sky Media Announces Optimum Nutrition as Official Nutrition Partner of Sky Sports

Optimum Nutrition has made a groundbreaking move by becoming the Official Nutrition Partner of Sky Sports, marking their first venture into UK TV advertising. This strategic partnership with Sky Media aims to elevate Optimum Nutrition’s marketing strategy by tapping into the vast reach of TV and VoD platforms.

The collaboration will see a series of co-branded TV commercials featuring renowned Sky Sports personalities Micah Richards and Natalie Pinkham, as well as McLaren Racing’s Lando Norris and Optimum Nutrition’s brand ambassador Lauren James. The multi-platform campaign, brokered by Manning Gottlieb OMD, will span across linear TV, VoD, short-form video on demand, and social channels, with a focus on enhancing brand awareness and recognition.

Produced by Sky Media Commercial Productions, the campaign will include a mix of TV commercials tailored for different sports such as football and Formula 1, airing during key sporting events like the Premier League and the British Grand Prix. Additionally, Optimum Nutrition and Sky Media will collaborate on a customer engagement partnership offering exclusive deals to Optimum Nutrition customers.

Karin Seymour, Director of Client and Marketing at Sky Media, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to deepen the connection between sports fans and Optimum Nutrition.
