Samsung TV Plus Unveils New Lineup of Premium Sports and Entertainment Content
Samsung TV Plus has just raised the bar for free streaming television platforms with its new lineup of premium sports content. At the recent IAB NewFronts event, Samsung announced the addition of major league channels that will bring live sports action to viewers like never before.
Fans of Major League Baseball (MLB) can now stream weekly game replays, minor league game replays, and game recaps on Samsung TV Plus. The PGA Tour channel will provide comprehensive coverage of professional golf, including behind-the-scenes programming, documentaries, tournament recaps, highlights, and competitions. And for hockey fans, Samsung TV Plus will be the first FAST platform to air live American Hockey League games through the Ontario Reign, the Los Angeles Kings affiliate.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Formula 1 fans will be thrilled to hear that Samsung TV Plus will feature the first FAST channel dedicated to the sport. The Formula 1 Channel will offer coverage of F1, F2, F3, and F1 Academy races, along with analysis, replays, and documentaries. And for fans of combat sports, ONE Championship TV will bring unique live events, highlights, series, and behind-the-scenes access from the world’s largest martial arts organization.
Samsung reports that FAST viewing on the platform has grown by 60% in the past year, reaching over 630 million connected devices across 24 countries. With this new lineup of premium sports content, Samsung TV Plus is sure to attract even more viewers looking for high-quality, free streaming options.
