Globant and Formula 1 Partner to Enhance Digital Experiences for Teams and Fans

In an exciting development for Formula 1 enthusiasts, software development firm Globant has announced a multiyear partnership with the prestigious racing organization. The collaboration aims to elevate the digital experiences of F1 teams and fans at races around the globe.

Globant CEO Martin Migoya expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This puts us in a place where we want to be, which is connecting with the most technologically advanced sport on the planet and be able to cooperate and co-create technology together with them.”

The first project of the collaboration will focus on improving the current pit wall system, which provides crucial information for racing teams. Additionally, a longer-term project will enhance the guest experience at the tracks, with a focus on an enriched mobile application for fans to use at each race.

Formula 1 director of strategic technical ventures, Pete Samara, emphasized the importance of innovation with fans at the center of their efforts. He highlighted the role of technology in driving business and expressed F1’s commitment to working with partners who can “move the needle.”

Globant, founded in 2003 in Argentina, has grown into a global brand with 29,000 employees in 33 countries. The company’s revenue reached $2.1 billion in 2023, reflecting a 300% increase over five years. Globant’s expertise extends to partnerships with other sports organizations, including FIFA, Major League Rugby, and LaLiga.

With a track record of success in enhancing digital experiences for sports fans, Globant’s partnership with Formula 1 promises to bring exciting innovations to the world of racing. Fans can look forward to a more immersive and engaging experience at F1 events, thanks to the collaboration between these two industry leaders.
