2025 Formula 1 Schedule Released: Melbourne to Host Season Opener
The Formula 1 2025 season is already shaping up to be an exciting one, with the release of the official race calendar and some major driver lineup changes.
After facing criticism for its geographical planning in recent years, F1 has made efforts to create a more logical and environmentally sustainable calendar for the upcoming season. The 2025 season will feature 24 races, starting with the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne in mid-March.
Following the season-opener, the action will head to Asia for four consecutive races, including stops in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in April. Miami will then host a race before the European leg of the season kicks off in May. Races will be held exclusively in Europe until September, with a one-off trip to Canada in June.
The schedule will then take F1 to Azerbaijan and Singapore before heading to the Americas for races in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. The season will conclude with the final two races in the Middle East, with Abu Dhabi hosting the finale as usual.
In addition to the exciting race calendar, the driver lineup for the 2025 season is also generating buzz. Lewis Hamilton’s move from Mercedes to Ferrari has triggered a potential driver merry-go-round, with Red Bull yet to announce whether Sergio Perez will stay on as Max Verstappen’s partner. Nico Hulkenberg has officially signed on with Sauber for the upcoming season, while teams like Alpine, Red Bull, and Haas still have open spots to fill.
With the stage set for an action-packed season, F1 fans can look forward to thrilling races and intense competition in 2025.
