Mercedes’ Lack of Pace in 2024 Season Disappoints Team and Fans

Mercedes’ poor start to the 2024 Formula 1 season has been a cause for concern for the team and fans alike. “At no point did they look like being a close challenger to Ferrari in the race,” Chandhok said. “For a team that finished second in the championship last year, it’s looking tricky for them to repeat that this year.”

Team principal Toto Wolff now faces the challenge of extracting more pace from their W15 car and finding a capable second driver for next year. With Hamilton struggling and currently sitting ninth in the drivers’ championship, the pressure is on for Mercedes to turn their season around.
