North Tama Senior Ryan Hosek Signs Letter of Intent to Play Football at Buena Vista University
North Tama High School is proud to announce that senior Ryan Hosek has officially committed to playing football for Buena Vista University next season. The six-foot-one, 200-pound Redhawk captain signed his letter of intent last Wednesday in front of his parents, Justin Hosek and Rebecca Dostal, as well as his coaches and teammates.
Hosek had an impressive season as both a center and defensive lineman, tallying 43.5 total tackles, with 23 of them being solo. His dedication and hard work on the field have earned him this opportunity to continue his football career at the collegiate level.
Following in the footsteps of his older brother Dylan, who currently plays tight end for the Morningside Mustangs, Hosek is excited to join the Buena Vista University Beavers. He plans to major in animal science with a focus on beef genetics, showcasing his passion for agriculture.
Aside from football, Hosek is a multi-sport athlete, participating in basketball, track, and baseball at North Tama High School. He also showcases his musical talents as a percussionist in the school band.
With his commitment to BVU, Hosek is not only pursuing his athletic dreams but also setting himself up for a successful future in the field of agriculture. North Tama High School wishes him the best of luck as he embarks on this new chapter in his academic and athletic journey.
