Ray Hadley Calls for Sonny Bill Williams’ Head, Labeling Him an Embarrassment

Talkback radio veteran Ray Hadley has once again taken aim at Sonny Bill Williams, calling for the controversial football star to be ousted from their shared workplace. Hadley, who hosts a breakfast radio show on 2GB, did not mince words when expressing his disdain for Williams, labeling him an embarrassment.

Despite both being employed by Nine Entertainment, with Williams working as a rugby union commentator for Stan, Hadley made it clear that he believes Williams has no place within the organization. “I don’t know how this bloke has continued to be employed by the network that employs me,” Hadley stated. “It’s embarrassing he’s employed by this organization. I’m embarrassed to be in the same camp as him.”

Hadley’s frustration with Williams stems from the athlete’s social media behavior, which Hadley finds divisive and dim-witted. In particular, Hadley was incensed by Williams sharing a post that linked a local tragedy to international conflicts. “Be handy one day Sonny Bill if you picked up the paper and got somebody to read it to you or cleaned the wax out of your ears and listen to what’s been going on in Sydney over the past 48 hours,” Hadley criticized.

This is not the first time Hadley has publicly criticized Williams, with previous outbursts branding him a “lunatic” for his controversial social media posts. Despite his strong opinions, Hadley has reportedly not been approached by senior management regarding his views on Williams.
