He received his awards from distinguished guests including Istanbul Deputy Governor Unal Kilicarslan and representatives from Turkish Airlines and the General Directorate of Sports. Danish cyclist Tobias Andresen claimed the Green Jersey for leading the sprint classification and was awarded by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Safa Kocoglu.
The highlight of the event was Frank van den Broek from the Dsm-Firmenich PostNL team, who not only finished atop the race but also claimed the prestigious turquoise jersey.
