Shepparton Cycling Club’s Jack Edwards is gearing up for an exciting new chapter in his cycling career as he prepares to make his international road race debut in Belgium. The 17-year-old rising star has already made a name for himself in the world of track cycling, with impressive performances at state, national, and international championships.

Edwards recently decided to shift his focus to road cycling in order to enhance his sprint and endurance capabilities. His dedication to training is evident, with a gruelling regime consisting of 16-17 hours of hard work each week. This commitment has paid off, as Edwards secured second place in the 500m time trial event and third place in the sprint at the Track National Championships.

The young cyclist will be racing for the Belgium team Avia-Rudyco during his six-week stint in Europe.
