Former Tamil Nadu fast bowler K. Arun Kumar passes away at 64
Former Tamil Nadu fast bowler K. Arun Kumar, who played a crucial role in the state’s Ranji Trophy victory in 1988, passed away at the age of 64 on April 22. Arun Kumar, known for his fearsome pace and all-round abilities, had a brief but impactful career in the 1980s, playing 13 First-Class matches and two List ‘A’ matches.
The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the former cricketer, highlighting his exemplary service to the game. Arun Kumar was a popular figure in the domestic circuit during his playing days and will be remembered for his contributions to Tamil Nadu cricket.
