Brett Lee praises Mayank Yadav’s stellar performance in IPL, wishes him speedy recovery

Former Australian pace sensation Brett Lee has heaped praise on emerging Indian star pacer Mayank Yadav for his outstanding performance in the Indian Premier League for Lucknow Super Giants. Mayank, who made a remarkable IPL debut, impressed everyone with his blistering pace, consistently clocking speeds of over 150 kmph.

Speaking to ANI, Lee expressed his excitement at seeing an Indian bowler deliver such high speeds. “To see someone from India bowling over 150 kmph was super exciting,” he said. Mayank’s fastest delivery of 156.7 kmph in the ongoing IPL season is the fourth fastest in the history of the tournament.

However, Mayank seemed to struggle in a recent game against GT, where he failed to maintain his usual pace and left the field after conceding three boundaries. Lee, understanding the challenges that come with being a fast bowler, advised Mayank to take care of his body and continue working on his action.

Fans can look forward to seeing Lee back in action soon as he competes in the World Championship Of Legends, a premier cricket league approved by the England and Wales Cricket Board and co-owned by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn. The matches will be held at the Edgbaston ground in Birmingham, promising an exciting display of cricketing talent.

Lee expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tournament, stating, “WCL is going to be a lot of fun. That adrenaline, that passion will still come out, and we still have that passion to play for our country.” With Lee’s guidance and support, Mayank Yadav is sure to continue making waves in the world of cricket.
