“Naoya Inoue vs. Luis Nery: Undisputed Super Bantamweight Title Fight Set for Tokyo Dome on May 6”

The Tokyo Dome is set to host a historic undisputed super bantamweight title fight on May 6, as Naoya Inoue defends his status against Luis Nery. The highly anticipated 12-round bout, along with an action-packed undercard, will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the U.S.

Inoue, a four-weight world titleholder and two-division undisputed champion, is considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. The Japanese star has been a world champion for over a decade and is only the second male fighter in the four-belt era to hold undisputed titles in multiple weight classes.

His opponent, Luis Nery, was banned from entering Japan after missing weight for a world title rematch, but has since been given the opportunity to fight for the biggest title of his career. With a record of 35-1 and 27 wins via knockout, Nery is sure to give Inoue a tough challenge.

The undercard will feature three major world title fights, including Jason Moloney defending the WBO bantamweight title against Yoshiki Takei, Takuma Inoue defending the WBA bantamweight title against Sho Ishida, and Seigo Yuri Akui defending the WBA flyweight title against Taku Kuwahara.

The main card is set to start at 4 a.m. ET, with the main event ring walks expected around 7 a.m. ET. Fans can catch all the action exclusively on ESPN+ in the U.S. and can purchase a monthly subscription for $10.99 or an annual subscription for $109.99.

Don’t miss out on this epic showdown between two of the best in the super bantamweight division. Tune in to witness history in the making on May 6.
