Dallin Hall Considering Duke Basketball Program for Transfer
Dallin Hall, the 6-foot-4 guard from BYU, has recently entered the transfer portal and has garnered interest from top programs across the country, including Duke basketball. Despite not being a guaranteed starter, Hall has shown promise on the court, starting in 51 of the 68 games he played for the Cougars.
Initially, Hall had a list of eight schools he was considering, but that list has now expanded to include Duke and Virginia, as reported by 247Sports’ Travis Branham. Duke head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff have been actively recruiting experienced players to add depth to their roster, with a focus on perimeter weapons.
Hall’s stats from his sophomore season at BYU are impressive, averaging 9.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. His ability to drive to the rim and shoot from beyond the arc make him a valuable asset to any team.
With Duke’s roster undergoing significant changes due to early departures to the NBA Draft and the transfer portal, adding a player like Hall could provide much-needed depth and experience to the team. Hall would join a talented group of players at Duke, including Tyrese Proctor, Caleb Foster, and a highly touted recruiting class.
As the recruitment process unfolds, fans will be eager to see where Hall ultimately decides to play next season. For more updates on Duke basketball and other sports news, stay tuned to Blue Devil Country on SI.
