Top Fantasy Basketball Pickups for Weekend Action

Friday’s fantasy basketball action was filled with exciting streaming options for managers looking to gain an edge in their leagues. With key starters out due to injuries, several players stepped up to deliver impressive performances.

One standout player was Payton Pritchard of the Boston Celtics. Despite coming off the bench, Pritchard seized the opportunity to shine in the absence of Jaylen Brown and Derrick White. In a game against the Kings, Pritchard played 33 minutes and put up a team-high 21 points, along with one rebound, three assists, two steals, and five 3-pointers. His consistent scoring output in recent games makes him a valuable asset in deep leagues whenever the Celtics are missing a starter.

On the flip side, Sam Hauser failed to deliver for fantasy managers on Friday. Despite being moved into the starting lineup, Hauser struggled with his shot, going 1-of-18 from the field. However, with the Celtics facing the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, Hauser could still be a viable option for managers in need of last-day production.

In addition to Pritchard and Hauser, other top pickups from Friday’s games include Jabari Walker of the Portland Trail Blazers, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Trey Jemison of the Memphis Grizzlies, Julian Champagnie and Sandro Mamukelashvili of the San Antonio Spurs, Tristan Vukcevic of the Washington Wizards, Dante Exum of the Dallas Mavericks, and Javonte Green of the Chicago Bulls.

With a busy weekend schedule ahead, fantasy managers have plenty of options to consider for their lineups. Whether it’s seeking scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, or blocks, there are several under-the-radar players ready to make an impact in Week 23 of fantasy basketball.
