Lady Vols Basketball Coach Kim Caldwell Announces New Director of Sports Performance
The Lady Vols basketball team has made a significant addition to their coaching staff with the hiring of Nolan Harvath as the new director of sports performance. Harvath, who previously worked with head coach Kim Caldwell at Glenville State, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program.
Caldwell expressed her excitement about the hiring, stating, “I have had the pleasure of working with Nolan in the past, and he knows what we are trying to accomplish. He sees the vision we have and is dedicated to making sure we are the hardest-working team in the country. I know he is going to show up to work focused on ensuring our program is getting better every single day.”
Harvath replaces Bryan Tatum, who was not retained from the previous staff. Most recently, Harvath worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at West Virginia University, where he worked with the football team. Prior to his time at WVU, he served as the director of strength and conditioning at Glenville State.
A native of Fairmont, West Virginia, Harvath brings a diverse background to the Lady Vols program. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in exercise science and went on to earn his master’s in athletic coaching education from WVU. He has also worked at the high school level and with various collegiate sports teams, including baseball and golf programs.
With Harvath’s expertise and dedication, the Lady Vols are poised to continue their success on the court and in the weight room. Fans can expect to see a stronger, more competitive team under his guidance.
