(KRQE) – The state of New Mexico has seen its fair share of professional basketball teams come and go, but this year marks a special occasion with the inaugural season of the Santa Ana Thunder. Playing in The Basketball League (TBL) and calling Bernalillo High School its home, the Thunder is making a name for itself in the local basketball scene.

Coached by NBA champion Cliff Levingston, the Thunder is embracing the local talent in New Mexico and connecting with the community in a meaningful way.
