Duke Basketball Targets Experienced Guard Jordan Ivy-Curry for Potential Transfer

Duke Basketball Eyes UTSA Transfer Jordan Ivy-Curry for Roster Addition

As the transfer portal continues to shake up college basketball rosters, Duke basketball is actively seeking to add depth and experience to its lineup for the upcoming season. With the recent commitments of Maliq Brown and Mason Gillis, the Blue Devils are now setting their sights on UTSA transfer Jordan Ivy-Curry.

Standing at 6-foot-3, Ivy-Curry is a seasoned guard who has played four seasons of college basketball, with stints at both UTSA and Pacific. Last season, he put up impressive numbers, averaging 17.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game while shooting nearly 39 percent from beyond the arc.

After initially committing to Virginia Tech earlier in the offseason, Ivy-Curry reopened his recruitment and has since drawn interest from several programs, including Florida State, Kansas, and Texas A&M. Duke has now entered the mix, looking to secure his services as a valuable addition to their backcourt rotation.

With Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster expected to lead the backcourt, Ivy-Curry could provide a veteran presence coming off the bench for the Blue Devils. Head coach Jon Scheyer, heading into his third year at the helm, still has three scholarships to fill and is actively pursuing the right pieces to round out his roster.

As the offseason progresses, Duke fans will be eagerly awaiting updates on Ivy-Curry’s recruitment and any other potential additions to the team. For all the latest Duke basketball news, stay tuned to Blue Devil Country on SI.
