Former Louisville Men’s Basketball Player Danilo Jovanovich Commits to Milwaukee, Becomes Ninth Former Card to Find New Transfer Home

Former Louisville forward Danilo Jovanovich has found his new home at Milwaukee, becoming the ninth former Cardinal to secure a transfer destination. Jovanovich’s decision was announced on Tuesday, adding to the list of Louisville players finding new opportunities.

Joining forces with T.J. Robinson, who recently committed to Milwaukee, Jovanovich is set to make an impact with the Panthers. The 6-foot-8 forward had a limited on-court presence during his time at Louisville, but is looking to make a significant contribution at his new school.

Having spent his true freshman season at Miami before transferring to Louisville, Jovanovich is eager to showcase his skills at Milwaukee. Despite facing challenges with injuries and minimal playing time, he is determined to make a name for himself in the college basketball scene.

With the departure of all 12 scholarship players from Louisville following the coaching change, the program is undergoing a significant transformation. New head coach Pat Kelsey has been actively recruiting transfer players to rebuild the team, with eight commitments already secured.

As Louisville continues to reshape its roster, the addition of Jovanovich to Milwaukee highlights the opportunities available to former Cardinals looking for a fresh start. With a new coaching staff in place and a focus on recruiting top talent, the future looks promising for both Louisville and its former players finding new homes.
