Top Fantasy Basketball Pickups for Week 23: Kispert, Vukcevic, McBride, Powell, Branham, Merrill, Connaughton, Yurtseven

In the world of fantasy basketball, it’s not just the superstars who make an impact. Sometimes, it’s the under-the-radar players who step up and shine when given the opportunity. In recent weeks, we’ve seen a few low-rostered players who have been making waves and proving their worth on the court.

One such player is Corey Kispert of the Washington Wizards. With Bilal Coulibaly out for the season, Kispert has stepped up and taken on a bigger role in the starting lineup. In a surprising win over the Bucks, Kispert led the way offensively with an impressive performance, scoring 27 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and hitting four 3-pointers.

What’s even more impressive is that Kispert has been providing consistent value over the past two weeks, averaging 38 minutes per game. With a rostered percentage of just 35%, he’s still available on the waiver wire in some standard leagues, making him a valuable pickup for fantasy managers.

Another player worth keeping an eye on is rookie Tristan Vukcevic of the Wizards. With injuries to key players like Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley III, Vukcevic has been given the opportunity to showcase his skills. In a recent game against the Lakers, he put up 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in 31 minutes.

Moving on to some other top pickups from Tuesday’s games, Miles McBride of the New York Knicks continues to impress with his performances, averaging 18.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists over the past two weeks. Norman Powell of the LA Clippers also had a solid outing, filling in for the injured Kawhi Leonard and scoring 17 points.

Malaki Branham of the San Antonio Spurs, Sam Merrill of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Pat Connaughton of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Omer Yurtseven of the Atlanta Hawks are also players who have stepped up and delivered when given the chance. With injuries and lineup changes affecting teams, these players have seized the opportunity to make an impact in fantasy basketball. Keep an eye on them as they could provide valuable contributions for the rest of the season.
