North Tama Junior Ava Breakenridge Named to T-R’s All-Area Girls Basketball Second Team
North Tama junior Ava Breakenridge has been making waves in the world of girls’ basketball, and her recent recognition as a second team selection on the 2023-24 Times-Republican All-Area Girls Basketball Teams is a testament to her talent and hard work.
Breakenridge, a junior guard, led her team to victory in the Class 1A Region 2 opener against Meskwaki, scoring 13 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing out four assists. Her stellar performance on the court has not gone unnoticed, as she was the only player from North Tama to make the All-Area list this season.
