2024 BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle Schedule Announced

The highly anticipated 2024 BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle schedule has been announced, and basketball fans are in for a treat with 11 exciting matchups set to take place from December 3-8. This non-conference scheduling alliance, now in its sixth year, will feature some of the top teams from both conferences going head-to-head in a series of thrilling games.

With both the BIG EAST and Big 12 conferences expanding and adding new member schools, this year’s Battle will showcase 11 matchups, including seven teams that were ranked in the final AP Top 25 poll of the 2023-24 season. Defending national champions UConn will be one of the teams to watch, along with five other teams that made it to the Sweet 16 in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The Battle matchups are determined jointly by the two conferences, with the home team selecting the venue for their game. Broadcast arrangements will be handled by the national television rights holders of the home teams, ESPN for the Big 12 and FOX Sports for the BIG EAST. Game times and television networks will be announced at a later date.

One of the highlighted matchups will see the TCU Horned Frogs hosting the Xavier Musketeers on Friday, December 6. TCU, with a 3-2 all-time record in the Battle, will be looking to continue their winning streak in the series after defeating Georgetown last season.
