Cal Basketball Adds Two More Transfers: Stojakovic and Sissoko

Cal basketball continues to make waves in the college basketball world with the addition of two more talented transfers to their roster. Wing Andrej Stojakovic and forward Mady Sissoko are the latest recruits to join the Golden Bears, bringing the total number of new players to nine.

Stojakovic, a former McDonald’s All-American and the son of NBA legend Peja Stojakovic, comes to Cal from Stanford with three years of eligibility remaining. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 190 pounds, Stojakovic is known for his scoring ability and rebounding prowess. Cal coach Mark Madsen is thrilled to have him on the team, praising his versatility and playmaking skills.

On the other hand, Sissoko, a 6-foot-9 graduate transfer from Michigan State, brings a wealth of experience to the Golden Bears. With 121 career games under his belt and a reputation as a ferocious defender, Sissoko is expected to make an immediate impact on both ends of the court. Madsen is confident that Sissoko’s winning mentality and polished offensive game will elevate the team’s performance.

The addition of Stojakovic and Sissoko adds depth and talent to Cal’s roster, which already includes five other new recruits. With a mix of young prospects and seasoned veterans, the Golden Bears are shaping up to be a formidable force in the upcoming season.

As the excitement builds around the new recruits, Cal fans eagerly await the debut of these talented players in the Blue and Gold. With a promising lineup and a dedicated coaching staff, the Golden Bears are poised for success in the competitive world of college basketball.
