Idlewild Falcons Baseball Results and Standings – April 16, 20, & 23, 2021

The Idlewild Falcons had a thrilling week on the baseball field, with some exciting matchups and standout performances across all age groups. One special highlight was the presence of Mr. Vaughn, a second-grade teacher at Idlewild, who came out to support his students as they showcased their skills on the diamond.

In the 12U division, the Raptors soared to a dominant 14-2 victory over the Diamondbacks, while the Dominators battled their way to an 11-9 win against the Titans. The 10U Rainiers had an impressive comeback victory over the Cyclones, scoring 6 runs in the 6th inning to secure an 11-7 win. Grayson led the Rainiers with 4 RBIs, while Kamden and Brody delivered strong pitching performances.

The Knights continued their undefeated streak in the 10U division with an 8-6 win over the Rivals, thanks to standout performances from Liam and Sawyer, who both hit home runs. In the 8U division, the Bills and Diamondbacks emerged victorious in high-scoring matchups, while the Rainiers edged out the Tillicum Crushers in a close 26-24 contest.

The 8U standings show the Rainiers, Diamondbacks, and Hornets all tied at 2-1, with the Bulldogs, Bills, and Tillicum Crushers close behind. In the 10U division, the Knights lead with a perfect 2-0 record, followed by the Rivals, Rainiers, and Cyclones.
