Leading the charge for McHenry was Payton Sensabaugh, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, three RBIs, and four runs. Jack Stecker also had a standout performance, going 4 for 4 with three RBIs, while Owen Micklinghoff contributed with a 3 for 4 performance and three RBIs. Ryan Nagel added to the offensive onslaught by going 4 for 5 with an RBI and four runs.

Unfortunately, the matchup between Hampshire and Woodstock was canceled prematurely due to a minivan crashing into Hampshire’s dugout. Despite the unfortunate incident, no one outside the vehicle was injured, and the three children inside were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
