In a thrilling day of high school baseball action, teams from across Southern California battled it out on the diamond, with some exciting matchups and surprising results.
One standout game was the showdown between Adelanto and Walnut, where Adelanto emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. Arlington also had a strong showing, defeating Capistrano Valley 8-3, while Arrowhead Christian dominated Rancho Christian with an 11-4 victory.
Bell, Bloomington, Calabasas, Century, Cerritos, Channel Islands, Chavez, Corona, Eisenhower, El Modena, Elsinore, Fairfax, Fairmont Prep, Farragut, Flintridge Prep, Fountain Valley, Harbor Teacher, Harvard-Westlake, JSerra, Kaiser, La Mirada, La Palma Kennedy, Linfield Christian, Long Beach Wilson, Los Alamitos, Moorpark, Orange Vista, Palm Springs, Paloma Valley, Ridgecrest Burroughs, Riverside Poly, Riverside Prep, Rolling Hills Prep, Roybal, San Marino, San Pedro, Saugus, Schurr, Sierra Canyon, St. Paul, Sun Valley Magnet, Tahquitz, Torrance, Van Nuys, Verdugo Hills, Warren, West Ranch, and Windward all secured wins in their respective matchups.
On the softball diamond, California, Camarillo, Chino Hills, Esperanza, Fullerton, Granada Hills, Highland, King, Lone Pine, Redlands East Valley, Rio Hondo Prep, Rosary, San Fernando, Santa Margarita, Saugus, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, South El Monte, St. Paul, Valley View, Verdugo Hills, Village Christian, and Vasquez all came out on top in their games.
