Midrand Montessori High School Celebrates Record-Breaking Achievements at Inter-high Athletics Sports Day
The atmosphere at Midrand Montessori High School has been electrifying in recent weeks, as the school’s learners have been making waves with their outstanding achievements. The highlight of this exciting period was the Inter-high Athletics Sports Day held on March 15, where records were shattered and new stars emerged.
Three standout athletes stole the show at the event. Amukelani Mokgope, Njume Kraai, and Oreneile Machete showcased their incredible talents and determination, leaving spectators in awe. Amukelani, already a record-holder in the U15 boys’ high jump category, outdid himself by setting a new school record. Njume’s hard work paid off as he clinched victory in the U15 boys’ shot put category, breaking the previous record held by Amukelani. Oreneile displayed exceptional strength in the U15 girls’ shot put category, setting a new school record previously held by Lyra de Jong.
