Brainerd Warriors Seniors Named Warrior Athletes of the Year

Brainerd High School celebrated the outstanding achievements of two of its senior athletes, Eli Hoelz and Molly Pohlkamp, at the recent Brainerd Warriors All-Sports Banquet. The duo, who have been friends since elementary school, were honored as the Warrior Athletes of the Year by the varsity coaches.

Pohlkamp, a standout in both girls’ soccer and girls’ hockey, was praised for her leadership on and off the field. Her coaches commended her work ethic, team-first mentality, and ability to inspire those around her. Pohlkamp’s dedication to her sports and her teammates earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her.

On the other hand, Hoelz, a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball, was recognized for his exceptional character and leadership qualities. Coaches and teammates alike spoke highly of his humility, work ethic, and commitment to excellence both in sports and academics.
