State Records Broken and PB’s Galore at Little Athletics NSW Champs: A Recap and Photo Gallery from the HART Sport Titles
The recent Little Athletics NSW championships were a showcase of talent, determination, and record-breaking performances. Young athletes from across the state gathered at the HART Sport State Track and Field championships to compete for a chance to represent NSW at the upcoming Australian championships in Adelaide.
One standout performer was Harlow Pate from Wollongong City LA, who set a new state record in the U10 Girls 400m with a time of 1:01.42. Harlow also impressed in the 200m event, further solidifying her status as a rising star in the sport.
Other notable results included Bowral’s Harry Keats breaking the U14 Boys 800m state record, Ryan Weigand from Sutherland setting a new mark in the U9 Boys 60m hurdles, and Lian Anagnostopoulos from Balmain Athletics Club breaking the U17 Boys Triple Jump state record.
Izobelle Louison-Roe from Port Hacking had a standout competition, breaking multiple records in the U17 Girls Triple Jump, Long Jump, and High Jump events. She also claimed victory in the 100m Hurdles, showcasing her versatility and talent on the track.
The championships also saw impressive performances from athletes like Ben Sparado from Prospect, Phillip Botonis from Bankstown Sports Athletics Club, and Tallara Joseph-Riogi from Canterbury Athletics Club, who all set new state records in their respective events.
With the competition fierce and the stakes high, these young athletes showed incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the championships.
