Ministry of Culture Supports Jamaica Athletics Invitational with $10 Million Funding

The Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport in Jamaica has announced its support for the upcoming Jamaica Athletics Invitational, providing $10 million to the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) for the event. The invitational is set to take place at the National Stadium on May 11, with approximately 20 events scheduled.

Minister Olivia Grange expressed her excitement for the meet, stating that it will allow athletes and coaches to assess their current status and make necessary adjustments ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
