Brainerd High School Graduate Katy Etterman Inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame
Katy Etterman, a former Brainerd High School graduate, has had a career filled with twists, turns, jumps, and dives that have taken her around the world. From diving and gymnastics to high-wire acts and death-defying stunts, Etterman has showcased her talents on a global stage. Now, she is set to be inducted into the 2024 Brainerd Warriors Athletic Hall of Fame alongside former classmates and coaches.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Etterman embarked on a series of thrilling adventures. She performed as a high diver in Macau, competed in Red Bull Cliff Diving competitions, and was part of shows in Las Vegas. Despite her diving and performing career coming to an end, Etterman continues to lead an adventurous lifestyle as a wilderness guide in Alaska.
Her high school coaches speak highly of her adventurous spirit, competitive drive, and leadership qualities. Etterman’s achievements as a diver and gymnast at Brainerd High School are commendable, earning her numerous accolades and recognition.
