Eastern Illinois University Athletics Announces Apparel Agreement with Nike and BSN SPORTS

Eastern Illinois University Athletics Department has just announced a groundbreaking apparel agreement with NIKE and BSN SPORTS, set to take effect on July 1, 2024. This partnership will see BSN SPORTS become the official apparel and equipment provider for the Eastern Illinois Athletic Program, outfitting athletes, coaches, and community members in premier NIKE products over the next five years.

Vice President of BSN SPORTS’ Collegiate Select Program, Todd Northrop, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it will elevate the program experience for Panther coaches and teams by providing top-notch service, access to premier equipment and apparel, and expansive branding resources. This collaboration aims to enhance the university’s athletic brand and fan base while equipping student-athletes with leading gear to excel in their respective sports.

EIU Athletic Director Tom Michael emphasized the pursuit of excellence and championship quality for Eastern Illinois student-athletes, both on and off the field. The move to BSN SPORTS/NIKE comes at a time when the Panthers are leading the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Cup standings, showcasing their athletic prowess across various sports.

With recent OVC Championships in baseball, softball, volleyball, and cross country, as well as a football team ranked in the FCS Top 25, Eastern Illinois is poised for continued success with the support of BSN SPORTS and NIKE. The new contract ensures brand consistency and provides EIU Athletics with the best apparel and footwear provider in the world for years to come.
