Josh Archibald to be Inducted into Brainerd Warriors Athletic Hall of Fame

Josh Archibald, a former Brainerd Warrior hockey player, is set to be inducted into the Brainerd Warriors Athletic Hall of Fame. Archibald, who transferred to Brainerd from Canada during his freshman year, made a lasting impact on the hockey program during his time at the high school.

Known for his dedication and work ethic, Archibald was a key player in Brainerd’s success on the ice. He helped lead the team to a program-best 23-4 record in his junior season and repeated as conference champs in his senior year. Archibald’s talent and leadership earned him numerous accolades, including being named team MVP twice and Offensive Player of the Year three times.

After high school, Archibald continued his hockey career at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he set school records and earned multiple awards. His success in college eventually led to a professional career in the NHL, where he played for teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins, Arizona Coyotes, and Edmonton Oilers.

Despite his achievements at the professional level, Archibald still holds his time at Brainerd close to his heart. He credits his success to his family, teammates, and support system throughout his career. Now, he looks forward to sharing his journey with his young family as he is honored with induction into the Hall of Fame.

Archibald’s story serves as an inspiration to young athletes, showing that hard work, dedication, and a strong support system can lead to success both on and off the ice. His induction into the Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to the Brainerd Warriors hockey program.
