Chris Knapp to Run London Marathon for Herts MS Therapy Centre

Chris Knapp, a 38-year-old sports enthusiast, is gearing up to run his first full marathon on Sunday, April 21 to raise money for the Herts MS Therapy Centre in Letchworth. Having completed three half-marathons in the past, Chris is excited to take on the 26.2-mile challenge for a great cause.

Reflecting on his previous half-marathons, Chris shared his experiences. He loved the Ealing run for its new sights and sunny weather, but the Greenwich run, also known as the Big Half, was a tough one with rain and a pulled hamstring. Despite the challenges, the incredible atmosphere kept him going. The London Landmarks half-marathon, in support of Cancer Research, was a standout event for Chris.

With his familiarity with the London Marathon route, thanks to his work in Whitehall and upbringing in Greenwich and Plumstead, Chris is well-prepared for the upcoming race. Training in Ayot Green and Codicote, he plans to continue running post-marathon, exploring the beautiful parks of London.
