“Over 12,300 FBS College Football Players Opt-In for EA Sports College Football 25 Release”

With just two weeks left for FBS college football players to make a decision on whether they want to be a part of the highly anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 25, the numbers are already staggering. Athlete marketing company OneTeam Partners revealed that over 12,300 players have already opted in, showing the immense excitement surrounding the return of the beloved video game.

Set to be released this summer, EA Sports College Football 25 marks the first installment in over a decade, with the last release being NCAA Football 14 back in July 2013. With the recent changes in Name, Image, and Likeness rules, players can now enjoy more personalized features in the game, including the inclusion of jersey names and the opportunity to profit from their likeness being used.

According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, each player who opts in will receive $600 and a copy of the game, valued at around $70. The game will feature teams with 85-man rosters, and the response has been overwhelming, with over 10,000 opt-ins in just eight days after the process was opened to FBS players.

Daryl Holt, senior vice president and group general manager for EA Sports’ Tiburon Studios and American football division, expressed his excitement over the positive response from players, stating, “We’re excited to welcome more athletes in the weeks ahead and to debut this first class of athletes in the game when it launches this summer.”

The return of EA Sports College Football 25 is sure to be a hit among fans of the series, and players will finally have the opportunity to benefit from being included in the game. With the countdown to the release date ticking away, anticipation is at an all-time high for what promises to be a groundbreaking installment in the world of college football video games.
